Apologies...

I'm sitting here at 2am, jazzed up on booze and nicotine once again, and I just wanted to offer a few words to my old FOADian friends.

I can't see all of the Forum, so I don't know who is about, I do see a lot of new names here, and I know that probably a lot of people don't know me from Adam, but I really just wanted to say to those I knew that I'm sorry I never made it back for another round.

It was so cool to hear from you guys again, and believe me, I really did give it about two weeks damn hard thought, but I eventually worked out that I couldn't give it my all like I did that first year, and I couldn't justify playing if I wasn't going to take it seriously.

Like a coward, I just swept the whole idea under the carpet, which is why you never heard back from me, and I'm deeply, deeply sorry about that. It was ignorant and pitiful, and I regret not having the courtesy to at least say it at the time.

My job is taking up more of my life than it ever did, me and MJ are (still) saving for that first home (fucking economy, bah), and asides from that, I'm just getting older, slower, fatter...y'know...the usual.

To all my old friends though, just know this, I STILL think about you guys a lot, which is why I am drawn back here once again, you STILL mean so much to me, as you always will, and I still wish you all the best in life.

I fucking hate mondays, sunday has the potential to be the best day of the week, afternoon drinking, shops shut, sunday papers. Followed by the most wanky day of the week monday knowing you have another five days to go.

I'm taking a managment decision they can shove mondays up there arse, I'm not going in, duvet day beckons.

I have to disagree though, Mondays are a great day, the missus is packed off to work after getting under my feet all weekend, the neighbours all sod off as well and I don't have to put up with idiots outside making a racket because they'll all at work as well. AND I haz a full fridge with all sorts of yummies to cook with and there's usually a few bottles of homebrew chilling in too. I can put my feet up and get nicely sozzled in peace and quiet knowing that bar a bit of tidying up and loading the dishwasher I've got 5 days of doing next to bugger all to look forward to.

Well I have a had a duvet day and got a bollocking was well worth it for not having to work today

After my bollocking and my eventual arrival in work on tuesday they have finally relented and offered me the option of a four day week. I almost feel French what a win.
